Education & Training Services

New Hope provides various presentations to schools - elementary through college - for students, their parents and for staff memebers. In addition, New Hope also delivers presentations to local community organizations and agencies, local business groups, churches, police departments, the District Attorney's office, and many others. Most of the presentations are provided free of cost.

Some of the trainings we provide include:

• Date Rape
• Bullying and Harrassment
• Nationally-acclaimed Child Assault Prevention Program (CAPP) - in our Southeast Area

Clothesline Project

The Clothesline Project is a visual display bearing witness to domestic and sexual violence. During the public display, a clothesline is hung with shirts. Each shirt is decorated to represent a particular individual's experience, either by the survivor themselves or by someone who cares about them.

New Hope's Clothesline Project:

• Bears witness to survivors and the victims of domestic and sexual violence in our community
• Acts as a healing process for both people who are themselves survivors as well as for those who have lost a loved one to this distructive behavior
• Educates, documents, and raises society's awareness of the extent of the problem of domestic and sexual violence in our community
